Getting Rid of Money Problems with Silver

No matter how hard we work or try to limit our spending, there always comes a time when we are faced with money problems. Nobody likes to be in this kind of situation but it happens even to the best of us. The question really is how do we handle it? I’ve tried different things from borrowing money to begging for help but I could only go so far. The best solution for me is to sell silver jewelry or any item of value. By doing this, I’m not indebted to anyone and so I can do whatever I like with the money.

Selling silver is very easy to do. It doesn’t require a lot of explaining unlike when I’m trying to borrow money from my sister. And I don’t have to pity myself just like when I’m forced to beg for help from my parents. Jewelers will just take a look at the stuff I give them and tell me how much they’re willing to pay. When I go for it, they just give me the cash and thank me. It’s a very good way to get rid of money problems.

IT Departments New Servers

When the server is down, so is our work. If this happens, most of us can’t work properly. I work with the IT department and I hate it when the other employees start scratching me for answers. As much as I wanted to bust the servers to work, I can’t, because I can’t pay for the damage. I ask my boss to have replaced, bur he said we have no funds for new equipments. The IBM servers we had have been around for many years and its performance is also aging. This is a serious matter especially if we are fully loaded with transactions from our clients. What should I do?

I pleaded my boss again; this is time I am confident. I lay down my plans and did research. I told him that we are not going to buy new servers rather we will have used IBM servers to mitigate our networking support. He was unsure of my idea. He must be thinking that the cost is good but how about the servers’ performance. I explained to him the potential of refurbished components. Finally, we settled a decision. I processed everything and had it installed. From then on, I haven’t heard any single complaints from the employees departments. Makes me happy!

Surprise Home Remodeling

I wanted to surprise my husband when he comes home from Iraq. He is a soldier and a servant of this country. We have not seen each other for 6 months and now, he is coming back for good and taking a desk job locally. He always told me that he wanted a music room. He loves to play the guitar.

A month before his arrival, I contacted this remodeling company fl based group that has been the subject of gossips in the ‘burbs. Not that I am an envious neighbor, but some of my fellow wives who have tried their services were very happy of the outcome. With Tim’s salary going to me monthly, I decided to give him the ultimate gift and have a music room done in our little home.

The home remodeling contractor in Tampa did not fail me. In fact, they exceeded my expectations. The music room was spectacular. When Tim saw it, his eyes were glistening. He then proceeded to tell me that maybe we will have to hire them back real soon for a “baby room” addition.

Selling Old Silver Coins for My Graduation

My parents were not rich, we never had any property and wealth, but I was completely satisfied, with the love and care my parents showered on me.

However, death is inevitable process of life. My Dad died because of cardiac arrest. That was the saddest moment of our lives.  Mom told me to continue with our lives, the two of us together, although it was hard to accept the fact but we both tried.

After a year, I told my mom that I was one of the top students in our batch. I know I made her happy. The smile on her face assured me that she really was. Expenses were part of my graduation requirements; as I remember I gave her the lists of my school payables. One night I saw my mom crying silently on the dark side of her room. I sat in front of her.  While holding her hand and she raised her face. I noticed that she was holding a small pouch. She gave me the pouch. When I opened it, surprisingly I saw some old coins. It was my parent-wedding arras. Mom wanted to sell old coins for my graduation fee.

During that time, selling old silver coins was my mom last option. It tore my heart into pieces. That is why when I got a job; I let my mom feel that I was worth everything they (mom and dad) had done for me.
