When my sister and I decided to have a big anniversary party for my parent’s fiftieth wedding anniversary, we wanted to hire a band. Since there would be people of all ages, we needed to find one that could play all different types of music. I had heard a Phoenix wedding reception band a few months back that I thought might work. If I remember correctly, they were playing music that fit everyone. I might not know a song, but then they would switch it up on the next one and I would.

My sister suggested a Phoenix live cover band that she had seen at a local club but I was not sure that they would have the diversity that we needed. We set up two appointments, one with the Phoenix wedding reception band that I wanted and one with the Phoenix live cover band that she wanted. We were going to take along my aunt, to make the final decision.

I was going to be fine with whatever we chose and my parents would also be fine with it. They would just be happy to have all of their friends and family there celebrating with them. They might not even listen to the band too much since they will be visiting.

I received a catalog in the mail last month that had all sizes of footed pajamas in it. I could not believe the variety that they had, or the fact that they made men’s size 2XL. I laughed at the thought of my father, who wears that same size wearing footed pajamas of any kind. It would make a great gag gift though, so I put that thought at the back of my head and kept looking though the catalog.

Then, I came to the boys pajamas section and found that this company makes a pair of pajamas with every NFL team on them, that is out there. My boys love different football teams and neither of the teams is close to us, so they usually do not carry that team in our local stores.

I went ahead and placed an order for two different teams of boys pajamas and thought that I would just put them away until their birthdays came around in about six weeks. I also went ahead and ordered a funny pair of 2XL reindeer covered footed pajamas for my dad to give to him at Christmas time. The funny thing is, that he will probably wear them with pride all around the house.

I thought that our company was completely stocked up on everything we needed to get through the next few months. I have to have surgery, and will not be around to make sure that everything gets ordered and done so I thought that I had placed triple orders last month. That does not seem to be the case though, since we do not have enough cleaning products or safety supplies.

My maintenance man came into my office this morning to ask me what he should do about not having the right equipment and cleaning products for the rest of the month. I was shocked and told him that I thought he should have more than enough. In fact, I told him all about my extra ordering. He took me to the supply closet and showed me that it was almost empty. I had to call and find out what happened to my order and the woman told me that I had checked the box on the order form, to suspend orders for three months.

I do not know how I did that, but then I got nervous and started checking around the office. I guess that I must have checked the same box for the safety supplies, since there were only a few bandages and some gauze in the first aid kit. It should have been completely full with extra supplies next to it but it was not. I sent rush orders for everything that was needed to insure it was delivered before I left this week.
