Our lawn treatment Tampa Florida company that has been taking care of our yard for at least twenty years, is being bought out. I am not sure if I want to stay with them or not, because not only are they raising prices, but they are also telling me when they will treat the yard instead of me telling them when I would like them to come.
This new owner of the lawn treatment Tampa Florida company should really take a step back and look at how these changes are going to affect his already existing client base. I am not sure why anyone would come in and shake things up right off the bat. He should at least give everyone a six month transition period before making any changes.
This situation kind of reminds me of an organic pest control service that used to be in town. They were struggling a little bit and they decided to sell the business. The new owner thought that he knew what the problem was and turned the organic pest control service into a multi service company. He had guys going in so many different directions that they never could give really good service in just one area. They only lasted about eight months before they went bankrupt. Making extreme changes to existing businesses is not a wise choice.

My office supplies salesman that comes in every week to fill up our office supply closet came in early to fill our order. I guess that he won some big contest that his company was running and he was taking off for a week long cruise to the Bahamas. All of my employees heard him say this and were all jealous.
He told them that he had worked for a different office supply store before coming to work for his current company and when he learned about all the promotional things they give to their top salesman, he knew that he just had to go and work for them. I told him to let my employees know how many hours he had to work to win the cruise and he told them that for the past year, he has worked seven days a week and that usually added up to about seventy to eighty hours per week.
For some reason, after hearing that, my employees were not as jealous of the office supply store salesman anymore. I told them that I could afford to send them all on a cruise if they wanted to work seven days a week for the next year, but no one wanted to take me up on that deal. We all told our office supplies salesman to have a good time and we would see him when he got back.

The Phoenix website design company that works for us and designed our site over two years ago just won some pretty impressive awards. I knew that they were defiantly the best website design company in the state, but two of the awards were for national recognitions.
Since the national awards are voted on by other website companies, they must be doing something right. I can say that I do not know one company who I am in competition with who would say anything good about me for fear that they would lose a client to me.
There is one other Phoenix website design company that I think might be worth watching and that is only because I know that one of the guys from the company that I use left there and started up his own website design company about six months ago. Not too many people know that he had a big hand in getting the other one up and running but the awards should help with that.
I sent our website company a plant congratulating them for winning the awards and also sent a plant to the guy who is starting out solo, but deserves some credit too. I want him to know that I appreciated everything he did for my company when he worked on our site.
